Grammy winner Missy Elliott is definitely going to "Work It" with Katy Perry at the Super Bowl 2015 Halftime show.
A source familiar with the Super Bowl schedule disclosed to The Associated Press on Jan. 29, Thursday, that the "Get Your Freak On" singer is to join "Fireworks" diva at the halftime show at the big game on Feb. 1 in Phoenix, Arizona, according to ET Online.
Perry gave a hint about the rapper popstar's involvement to the Super Bowl 2015 line up of performers which includes Lenny Kravitz.
Kravitz will share the stage with Perry during their performance at the University of Phoenix. The "Roar" diva also mentioned during the press conference on Thursday that she will be adding an old school female singer but did not reveal the name, IB Times reported.
Elliott, who was featured in Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) music video in 2011, reportedly will make a shocking appearance during the show.
"When you hear the first ring of the chord, I think jaws will drop and faces will melt, it's going to be wild out there," said Perry, who also felt blessed that she got the opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl at such a young age.
At an early age, Perry was added to the list of the best performers who have been part of such prestigious event like Bruno Mars, Madonna, Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, The Who, Prince, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Rolling Stones, U2, and Paul McCartney.
