'Pokémon Sun and Moon' are the next new games in the Pokémon franchise.

Previous reports had it that Nintendo and the Pokémon Company would unveil some new footage for "Pokémon Sun and Moon" on April 3 at a Japanese variety show. While they revealed footage that was new to Japanese viewers, it was not new to other viewers around the globe.

Nintendo and the Pokémon Company recycled the content that was displayed during the Nintendo Direct event of "Pokémon Sun and Moon" to the gaming audience of Japan, according to Cinema Blend. As a result, there was no new gameplay footage as seen in the trailer courtesy of YouTuber MyGamingBoulevard. Based on the ratings of the video, it is clear that fans are not pleased at all.

Many fans were upset and confused about the absence of gameplay unveiled in the trailer after it was promised to fans that there would be a new gameplay on display for the highly awaited game. According to a report on March 26 by Gematsu, directors Junichi Masuda, Shigeki Morimoto, and Shigeru Ohmori would all feature on the variety show to talk about the next installment, some of the new features, and display new gameplay footage for "Pokémon Sun and Moon."

Now, there is an update explaining that there is no new footage and that it was similar to the trailer released in February. Another YouTuber streamed the whole show, which is 30-minute footage. Check out the show from Giancarloparimango11's channel.

Some fans are so disillusioned that they are reporting giancarparimango11's channel for misleading information. When the video was aired, it had more than 12,000 downvotes as compared to just 7,000 upvotes.

Apparently, it is not the YouTuber's mistake considering that everyone was informed that there would be gameplay footage for the upcoming Pokémon title. Although the unveiled footage is new to the Japanese audience, it is the same released in February for the rest of the audience around the world.

According to the same publication, there was information that the developer company would release 10 brand new Pokémon for player to capture in 'Pokémon Sun and Moon." Now, gamers and fans of the Pokémon franchise will have to wait a little bit longer to see the actual footage of the latest game in the series.

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" will release on the Nintendo 3DS later this year during the holiday season. Watch the clip below for more information on the recently unveiled footage.
