Several reports suggest that Apple will unveil the MacBook Pro 2016 on June 13, 2016. The software company will hold the annual Worldwide Developers Conference from June 13 to June 17.

It is expected that the MacBook Pro 2016 will come in two versions. According to reports, one model will sport a 15-inch screen and the other model will feature a 13-inch display.

Rumor has it that both the models will be powered by sixth-generation Intel Skylake chips. Compared to earlier models, the new processor will enhance the battery performance significantly.

There are speculations that the upcoming MacBook Pro will support Siri, the artificial intelligence assistant from the tech giant Apple. Siri is expected for the next Mac OS X on the upcoming laptop.

The 2016 MacBook Pro will also host a touch sensor. The Touch ID fingerprint sensor makes purchase authorization easier for purchasers and enhances security. Furthermore, rumors are doing the rounds that the tech company will add support for extremal graphics card on the upcoming device.

It is expected that the forthcoming models will come with slimmer design. Moreover, the 2016 MacBook Pro is expected to feature Retina Display together with OLED displays. Force Touch enabled Touchpad, 9 hours of battery backup and USB Type-C are some of the other features of the upcoming laptop.

Several reports suggest that the 13-inch model will cost around $1500 and the 15-inch model will cost about $2800.

It is important to note that the Cupertino-based company has not revealed any information on the forthcoming MacBook Pro models.

Meanwhile, according to The Verge report, HP said that its new laptop Spectre 13 will be a MacBook-beater.

The Spectre measures 10.3mm, making it thinner than Apple's MacBook. The device has 512GB of storage, 8GB of RAM and 13.3-inch display, CNET reported. It includes a Core i7 or Core i5 processor.

The Spectre 13 does not have an ultra-high definition resolution, a detachable keyboard or a touchscreen.

It is heavier than MacBook and sports a copper-accented design that combines carbon fiber with aluminium. According to HP, the notebook will be able to offer 9.5 hours of use.

Preorders for the notebook will start on April 25, 2016. The price of the Spectre will start at $1,169.99 and the company will start shipping in May. A model will go on sale at Best Buy retail stores for $1,249.99 on May 22. .
