"The Voice" Season 8 judges Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams are all featured in an epic Super Bowl ad along with the host Carson Daly.
In the ad, a voice announces, "In a far distant future where only the strong survive, one tradition lives on."
"The Voice" Season 8 will premiere on Feb. 23 with Aguilera reuniting with bromance singers Shelton and Levine after her maternity leave. This season also marks Williams' second after debuting on the show with Gwen Stefani on the seventh season.
Also joining Shelton, Aguilera, Levine and Williams are four additional mentors. Sources told Us Weekly that "Lionel Richie will help Team Pharrell Williams, Ellie Goulding will mentor Team Adam Levine, Nick Jonas will handle Team Christina Aguilera, and Meghan Trainor will assist Team Blake Shelton."
During the seventh season of "The Voice," which was won by Craig Wayne Boyd, Levine was mocked because of his blonde hair. He said half of those who say bad things about his hair on Twitter would never say such words to his face and admitted even his mother did not like his new hair.
Aside from working with Williams and "Hollaback Girl" hit maker Gwen Stefani on "The Voice" for the first time in 2014, Levine also made his debut as an actor in the film "Begin Again" opposite Kiera Knightley, who also sang in a film also for the first time.
