According to reports, the HTC One M8 and HTC One M9 have received the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

Users of the HTC One M7 will not be getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The HTC makes the guarantee for handsets that are less than two years old.

Reports suggest that HTC devices such as HTC Desire 816, HTC Desire 820, HTC Butterfly 3, HTC One M8 EYE, HTC One E8, HTC One ME, HTC One E9, HTC Desire 826 and HTC One M9+ will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

Several reports suggest that the Android 6.0 M is rolling out on HTC devices such as Desire 816  internationally on dual-SIM versions of the device.

The company has begun rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates for its One M8 Eye, One E8 and Desire Eye smartphones.

The HTC Desire Eye (international version) has also got the Marshmallow update. HTC One M8 Eye has got Android Marshmallow in India.

Users of HTC Desire Eye in Europe and users on AT&T have received the update. At present, the HTC One E8 is getting the over-the-air Marshmallow update in China. Users of the HTC One M8 Eye in China and Europe have got the new update.

The update is available to limited regions but it will be available to wider users in the forthcoming weeks. The Marshmallow update will bring the new Sense 7 UI and bump the software.

Android 6.0 M update brings features such as new fingerprint APIs for developers, Android Pay mobile payment system, Google Now on Tap and revamped app permissions.

According to reports, the unlocked HTC One A9 has got the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update. The 6.0.1 Marshmallow update brings some performance improvements over Android 6.0 version and 200+ emojis, SamMobile reported.

Meanwhile, HTC is expected to unveil the newest smartphone next week. It would be the HTC 10, the HTC M10 or HTC One M10.

According to a report from Digital Trends, the handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and will sport a 5.1-inch screen with 1,440 x 2,560 pixels resolution.  Furthermore, it will have 4 GB of RAM and a 12-megapixel shooter.
