With a total of eight nominations, including the most coveted "Entertainer of the Year," Miranda Lambert is leading the list of most nominations in the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards. The nominations for all categories was announced on Jan. 30 through a tweet from the official ACM awards Twitter account.

Lambert, who is nominated for the "Entertainer of the Year" award for the fourth time, has also received her "Female Vocalist Nomination" for the ninth time. This year, she is vying for the award against Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, and newcomers Brandy Clark and Kacey Musgraves.

Underwood and Lambert are also nominated for both the vocal and video awards for their collaboration on the song "Somethin' Bad."

Lambert's "Platinum" is also vying for the "Album of the Year" together with Eric Church's "The Outsiders," and Aldean's "Old Boots, New Dirt," Little Big Town's "Pain Killer," and Bentley's "Riser."

"Song of the Year" nominations, which acknowledge songwriters, include Lambert's "Automatic," which she co-wrote with Natalie Hembley and Nicolle Galyon; Kenny Chesney's "American Kids," written by Shane McAnally, Luke Laird, and Rodney Clawson; Luke Bryan's "Drink a Beer," by Chris Stapleton and Jim Beavers; Musgrave's "Follow Your Arrow," which she wrote with McAnally and Clark; Bentley's "I Hold On," written by Brett James; and Laird and Church's "Give Me Back My Hometown."

Male vocalist nominees are Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Bryan, Bentley, and Aldean.

Church, Chesney and Bryan gathered four nominations each.

The awarding ceremony will be hosted by Shelton and Bryan, who have co-hosted twice with Reba McEntire. It will be televised live on CBS, except in West Coast, where it will be shown during prime time.
