Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister and Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister will be seen seeking revenge in "Game of Thrones" Season 6.

With "Game of Thrones" Season 6 official premiere just two weeks away with very less information as how the upcoming season will shape up, HBO recently released a new trailer to keep up the excitement level among its viewers.

The highlight of the trailer is certainly the stirring at Castle Black followed by the footage of Davos Seaworth talking about the fight of the dead versus the living along with the shots of the white walkers assembling their army. However, most of the footage in the new trailer is just a sneak peek of episode 1 and there is still plenty to be seen this season that has not even hinted at, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The trailer was closely followed by three new clips that the network released on April 11, Monday. The clips have managed to take the attention away from now-seemingly dead Jon Snow and bring the show's female protagonists into focus.

In one of the clips, Cersei Lannister is seen shaken over her infamous walk of shame and seems hellbent on revenge as she is seen sending her son, coddled King Tommen, to the front of the battle. Other cip shows Daenerys Targaryen as still a captive who is being brought to an unknown place. She comes face to face with the strong Khal warrior, about whom the official synopsis has talked about. The fate of Sansa Stark, who was last seen leaping to freedom along with Theon, does not seem as hopeful as speculated earlier since it appears that she will not be able to make it too far beyond the wall of Winterfell.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 has already premiered in Los Angeles' famous Chinese Theatre on April 10, Sunday amidst a star-studded gathering. While the cast of the Emmy-winning show gathered for the opening, with Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, Leane Headey and Liam Cunningham being the main attraction, Kit Harington, the actor who plays the beloved warrior was noticeably absent from the event, Vanity Fair reported. The actor's absence from the world premiere further confirms that Snow is actually dead and will not be seen in the upcoming season.
