Middling clubs Bologna FC (10-15-7, 37 points) and Torino FC (10-13-9, 39 points) are scheduled to meet for a 2015-2016 Serie A game at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on Saturday, April 16th as the current season slowly comes down to a close.

Bologna is at the 13th spot of the current league table, safely nine points above the bottom three relegation zone with six games left in this season's campaign. The team is on a downward spiral as of late as they are winless in their last six matches.

I Rossoblu is coming off an impressive performance, though, as they held third-running squad AS Roma to a 1-1 draw on the road at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday, as per SkySports.

Defender Luca Rossettini opened the scoring at the 25th minute of the game with a short range header off a brilliant cross by teammate Juan Zuniga following a set piece situation. Head coach Roberto Donadoni's boys held on to the one point lead until the halftime break as they aim to pull off a major upset against the capital city team right on their own home pitch.

However, La Maggica was able to find the equalizing goal in the second half with a left-footed strike from winger Mohamed Salah at the 50th minute to salvage the draw and a share of a point in the overall standings.

Meanwhile, Torino is on a roll right now, stringing two straight victories as they settle at the 11th spot of the league table.

Their most recent match was a 2-1 decision over lowly club Atalanta at the Olimpico di Torino last Sunday, as reported by Football Italia.

Head coach Giampiero Ventura's men netted the first two goals of the contest, at the 35th and 46th minutes, with strikes from Brazilian defender Bruno Peres and Argentine forward Maxi Lopez respectively.

La Dea managed to cut the deficit to a single point with a goal from midfielder Luca Cigarini off a free kick with only eight minutes before the full time whistle, but teammate Marten de Roon was sent off in injury time for a second yellow card which doused their comeback attempt.

The predicted result is a 2-0 win for Torino for a third straight victory late in the season.

Bologna starting lineup (4-5-1 formation): Mirante; Mbaye, Rossettini, Maietta, Masina; Zuniga, Zapata, Diawara, Brighi, Rizzo; Floccari

Torino starting lineup (3-5-2 formation): Padelli; Bovo, Glik, Moretti; Peres, Acquah, Vives, Obi, Molinaro; Belotti, Lopez
