"Zoey 101" star Christopher Michael "Chris" Massey has just been arrested for charges on an alleged case of domestic violence toward his girlfriend, Cassalei Jackson.
A new report claims that Massey and girlfriend Jackson got into an argument early Sunday, April 10 at the Marquee Club in Las Vegas, TMZ has learned. The local authorities told the publication that the 26-year-old actor allegedly shoved his better half to the ground amid the intense argument.
The securities at the Marquee Club held the actor until the local police arrived and arrested him for misdemeanor domestic violence. However, Massey was later released after posting bail.
The actor then admitted that he got into a verbal argument with Jackson, but asserted that the latter fell accidentally as they were leaving the club together. He added that the club security wrongly thought that he had pushed his girlfriend.
According to sources, Jackson has reportedly decided not to press any charges against her beau. She did, however, took to Twitter that same day and posted a cryptic message over the matter - "f*cking Vegas" along with "Have you ever been wide awake blacked out?"
The 20-year-old Jackson is the daughter of actress Sharisse "Shar" Jackson, who was once engaged to Kevin Federline. The two reportedly had two other children together before Federline wedded Britney Spears, The Daily Mail reported.
Meanwhile, Massey is best known for playing Michael Barret in Nickelodeon Family TV series "Zoey 101" that runs from 2005 to 2008. The series follows the daily life of Zoey Brooks (Jamie Lynn Spears), one of the first girls to pass admissions for a formerly all-boy boarding school called the Pacific Coast Academy.
Known for showing up in several advertisements in the early 2000s, Chris is said to be the older brother of actor Kyle Massey. Chris has received many awards and nominations, including a "Young Artist Award" and "Emmy Awards" nominations.
Despite the fact that the actor has yet to be formally charged by the District Attorney, it has been learned that he still need to go to a court hearing, which is scheduled on May 10.
