Clash Royale is a freemium mobile strategy video game developed and published by Supercell.

"Clash Royale," a spinoff of "Clash of Clans" and one of the most popular mobile games of all times, will soon be getting an update to fix some issues that are frustrating players. Some of the expected features include live spectating, double rewards in chests and triple donations.

Unlike "Clash of Clans," "Clash Royale" requires a player to earn different troops rather than simply saving up and unlocking them. This is all part of the lottery system, where players get two "Daily Chests" with troops inside allowing them to acquire more troops and upgrades.

These chests are usually earned by winning matches, although the troops inside a chest are always a mystery. It becomes very frustrating for a player who finds that every rival they face has a card they do not have.

Now, Supercell intends to bring an update in May to some of these "Clash Royale's" frustrations. Firstly, according to Gotta Be Mobile, Supercell intends to bring live spectating in the game, whereby, "Clan" members will be allowed to watch other members while they fight in real-time.

This will improve "Clash Royale" tournaments by enabling players to test new decks and strategies, and by improving the hosting experience of "Clan" tournaments over the web as well as other outlets. Fans believe this will also make tournaments more interactive and exciting.

The "Clash Royale" update might also come with double rewards in chests. Currently, chests do not have enough troops and, therefore, the game starts to get slow, expensive, and frustrating for anyone who wants to make it to higher levels. After the update, chests will offer double the rewards, meaning more gems, gold and cards for players.

Another problem to be solved is the donations issue. It is always a good move for "Clan" members to donate cards so as to help players upgrade troops. However, it takes too long for a player to earn over 200 cards required to upgrade troops. Double rewards will partly solve this, but donations will also be tripled, Product reviews reported.

The donation system will improve and increase "Clash Royale's" players' chances of advancing to higher levels. Also, tournament rules will improve to make the game fairer. All these are to be confirmed once the update finally arrives in early May.
