While doctors believe that recovering Bobbi Kristina is technically possible, they also said that it would be a miracle, a family source told People.

The source also told the publication that Bobby Brown is "inconsolable" while doctors are trying to keep her daughter Bobbi Kristina alive.

According to the source, losing Whitney Houston was hard for Brown, but Bobbi Kristina's current condition is "a million times worse, and to lose her in the same way would devastate him" and it is "his worst nightmare."

On the other hand, hospital officials have refused to comment on Bobbi Kristina's condition. Brown's lawyer, Brown & Rosen LLC's Christopher Brown, simply confirmed that the report that Bobbi Kristina has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Ga. is accurate but no further information would be released soon.

Since she was found unresponsive in her bathtub inside her home in Roswell, Ga. on Jan. 31, the only child of Brown and Houston has since not regained consciousness. With very limited brain activity while in a coma, the 21-year-old remains on a respirator and was without oxygen for an uncertain amount of time.

For Bobbi Kristina, the Browns and the Houstons have come together and they are "holding hands, praying, hoping for the best" as they know "where things are at," according to the source.

In a statement, Brown asked for privacy as his daughter was being treated in an Atlanta-area hospital, ABC News reported.

"Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time," Brown said in the statement.
