‘Fifty Shade Of Grey’ Gets Rated 18 For Strong Un-Cut Sex Scenes

"Fifty Shades of Grey" film was given rated 18 for screening full and un-cut sex scenes all throughout the movie. A movie based on EL James best seller book "Fifty Shades of Grey" which was considered mummy porn books, the certification was given by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC). Because of the movie's strong sexual scenes and nudity, BBC reported.

James trilogy of the "Fifty Shades" books recorded a 100 million copies sold globally and has been translated into 50 different languages. In the United States board of censors, the movie was given a rating of 17, where youngsters can see the movie as long as an adult accompanies them. 

Director Taylor-Johnson has never made a Hollywood movie before, being this as her first, she disclosed to have asked a dominatrix to get a few points and admittedly say she learned a lot from her.

The film stars Jamie Dornan as the sexy BDSM-charming business man Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as the young innocent Anastasia Steele.

"The film contains strong sex and nudity, along with the portrayal of erotic role play based on domination, submission and sado-masochistic practices. There are also strong verbal references to such practices and the instruments used," explained BBFC, according to Screen Daily.

The 125-minute film will have its premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival on Feb 11. Regular screening will be this coming Feb. 13, across the globe.

This is one of the most awaited films of the year, with its trailer getting 46 million views on YouTube.
