Finally, the much-awaited Guns N' Roses reunion concert came to fruition and fans could not be happier to see the original roster back together. For Axl Rose though, he is just scratching the surface of his career revival as he is set to be the vocalist of another legendary rock band, AC/DC.

GnR began their reunion tour in the first week of April as they performed at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California. Despite Rose having a broken leg, the show went on thanks to Foo Fighters' front man David Grohl lending Rose his custom throne. Then, they headlined this year's Coachella 2016 and they are now about to begin their stadium tour.

"I wanna thank Dave Grohl for this; it was very nice of him, Rose told Blabbermouth. "I've got nothing to do with this."

To sweeten things up, Rose will also be joining iconic band AC/DC as he will fill in the shoes of frontman, Brian Johnson, in their Rock or Bust trek. The 68 year-old Johnson is in danger of going deaf if he continues touring with the band, said his doctors.

Should everything go well for Rose and the two bands, he is expected to go on 35 shows for this year. This is definitely one of the greatest stories in the music scene this year according to the legendary Alice Cooper. When he first heard of the news, he thought it was only a joke, but then he realized, it was actually a brilliant idea.

"At first I thought it was an April Fool's thing," Cooper told Rolling Stone in an inteview. "I went, 'Oh, come on.' Then I started thinking about it and said, 'You know, his voice is absolutely perfect for that band. That might just work.'"

For Cooper, Rose's vocal prowess is one that would jive with AC/DC's style. He also said that this is one of the rarest opportunities that fans of GnR and AC/DC should not miss.

"I just think that's such a unique combination," he added. "Whoever has tickets to that show has got the golden ticket, because who doesn't want to see that?"
