Super Saiyan White Goku - Dragon Ball Super

Dragon Ball Super will soon present a new villain and potential re-emergence of Akira Toriyama long due concept of Super Saiyan White.

As the Super Tournament between Universe 6 and Universe 7 draws to a close, Toriyama and his team are already working on the storyline for the next arc. In an interview with Dragon Ball Super manga artist Toyotaro, Toriyama confirmed that they are almost done with the storyboard along with character designs of the next antagonist in the series.

The Dragon Ball Super creator even dropped a hint on who will be the man (being) that will further push Son Goku and Vegeta power levels to new heights. The next villain apparently will be sporting a white hair.

"In the Battle of Gods, it was red, so I figured for 'Revival of F' I should go with blue. That's all, Toriyama jested. He added "Well, actually I was thinking about having it white, but then it would color crash with the next enemy, so I figured I should save it for another occasion.

It's still uncertain when will this next emery pop out, but Youtube anime blogger Fornover World surmised the upcoming arc's antagonist has something to do with future Trunks.

Super Saiyan White:

To make things clear, Super Saiyan white isn't a foreign idea to hardcore Dragon Ball Super / DBZ fans. In fact, Toyotaro first brought the idea of Super Saiyan White (Super Saiyan 5) in Dragon Ball AF - his creation when he was just dōjinshi artist working under the pen name Toybie in 1999.

As what the title suggests, Super Saiyan 5 is the next level beyond the immensely powerful Super Saiyan 4 in Dragon Ball GT. A saiyan able to reach the power level of Super Saiyan 5 gains unbelievable power, which enough to match or even surpass the power of Beerus (the Lord of Destruction). It also sports a long white hair, a saiyan tail and muscular body 3x bigger than Super Saiyan 4.

Perhaps, Toriyama has finally considered the introduction of the Super Saiyan 5 concept to Dragon Ball Super, after the concept was called as a myth by anime critics and fans alike. It would be interesting at what point Goku or Vegeta achieves this form, but there's no doubt the level of excitement surrounding Dragon Ball Super raised a notch higher with this new development.
