After Katy Perry's 2015 Super Bowl halftime show, "Left Shark" rose into fame for his dance moves, his bad dance moves.

During the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 2, Monday, Perry performed her hit single "Teenage Dream" between two backup dancers who were dressed as sharks. While the backup dancer on the right nailed the dance choreography with Perry, the one on the left appears to be confused while flopping fins.

The confused dancer immediately became an internet sensation and was referred to as "Left Shark." He became the subject of several memes featuring his awkward dance moves and missteps.

Aside from "Left Shark," another thing that caused the internet to roar was the reunion of the "Roar" hitmaker and her former boyfriend John Mayer. The former couple were spotted enjoying with Missy Elliot at a Super Bowl after party.

Perry split from Mayer in February 2014. After this, Twitter's most followed person was first linked to Diplo at the 2014 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif.

Perry's romance with Diplo, however, reportedly lasted for a month only after they called off their relationship because it was moving too quickly with Diplo planning to introduce the singer to his family, NZCity has learned.

In June 2014, Perry and Diplo reunited for a tropical vacation in Jamaica while the songstress was on break before she resumed her "Prismatic World Tour," Daily Mail reported.

Both Perry and Diplo have neither confirmed nor denied whether or not they were officially in a relationship.
