Suge Knight Taken To Hospital After Pleading Not Guilty

Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight was taken to hospital after pleading not guilty in his hit-and-run case several minutes after the hearing ended.

Knight reportedly suffered chest pains, which are related to a panic attack. His lawyer said that Knight might require to stay at the hospital overnight.

The Death Row Records co-founder wore his orange jail uniform and shackles as he pleaded in a high-security courtroom located in Compton, California, yet he said little during his brief arraignment.

After an hour of his appearance, Knight experienced a medical condition, then he prompted a call to paramedics as well as an emergency trip to the local hospital. David Kenner, Knight's lawyer, told New York Daily News that Knight is not feeling great and not really sure regarding the specifics and added that they might keep him overnight.

Kenner told the reporters that his client was remorseful. Knight has been in custody ever since he was arrested. His two-million dollar bail was also revoked after the homicide detectives argued that he was a flight risk.

Knight is known for bullying back in 1990s, which pitted Death Row artist Tupac Shakur against the Brooklyn rapper Christopher Wallace, whose also known as Notorious B.I.G.

Knight has spent about five years behind bars due to brutal beatdown of the rival of Shakur, which took place just several hours before Shakur was shot fatally on his way to Las Vegas for his shooting.

Knight is due back in court on February 9 for a bail motion hearing. The new judge is Ricardo Ocampo, LA Times reported.
