Last season's Football League Championship winners AFC Bournemouth (11-17-8, 41 points) and struggling team West Bromwich Albion FC (10-15-11, 41 points) are tied on points in the current 2015-2016 Premier League table. They play each other on May 7th, Saturday at the Vitality Stadium as both teams try to improve their standings late in the season.

Bournemouth is a spot below West Brom, at the 15th place of the table, as they have a lesser goal difference of -20 as compared to the latter's -14. With two matchdays left in the current term, the two teams, who are both nine points above the relegation zone, are desperate for wins to try and end their campaigns on a high note.

The Cherries drop a close 1-2 game to middling team Everton FC at the Goodison Park last Saturday, as reported by BBC Sport.

Two early goals from each side, courtesy of Everton midfielder Tom Cleverley at the seventh minute and Bournemouth winger Marc Pugh at the ninth, made the score stand at 1-all until the halftime break.

However, Boscombe allowed the hosts to net another goal in the second half, with a drilling shot from defender Leighton Baines at the 64th minute. It proved to be the winner of the match, which sent manager Eddie Howe's squad to their third straight loss and fifth in their last six matches.

Meanwhile, West Brom was whitewashed by contending team West Ham United, 0-3, at their own field of the Hawthorns also last Saturday, via SkySports.

West Ham's midfielder Cheikhou Kouyaté netted the first goal at the 34th minute before the Irons' captain Mark Noble scored a brace at the 45th+2 and 79th minutes to complete the visitors' three-goal haul.

It was the seventh consecutive winless match by the Baggies as they are now settled at the 14th spot of the league table. Their last win was back in early March, 1-0 decision over perennial powerhouse Manchester United.

The predicted result is a 1-0 win for West Brom to snap their seven-game winless slide.

West Bromwich Albion starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Evans; Fletcher, Yacob; Leko, Gardner, McClean; Rondón
