One of the biggest headlines in the music industry this year is legendary rock band Guns N' Roses' decision to reunite and do a world tour. All eyes are on Axl Rose, though, as he is set to front both GnR and another legendary rock band in AC/DC.

After countless years of speculations, the band ultimately decided to set aside their differences and rock the stage once again for old time's sake. It is worth noting that Axl Rose and Slash had an ongoing 20-year rift which both confirmed is now water under the bridge.

Both felt that it has been too long and they would not throw away their magical experience together. The band started touring on April 8 and fans can catch them until August 22, as listed in Guns N Roses official website.

Now, Rose is set to take on greater responsibilities as not only will the vocalist tour with his original band, he will also take the place of Brian Johnson as AC/DC's lead vocalist. Johnson could no longer pursue his career as a vocalist as he will risk being deaf should he proceed.

Music icons, however, are not worried with Rose as AC/DC's new vocalist. He has the right qualities to take on the job according to legendary rock star, Alice Cooper. Although he was shocked at first

"I'm happy and excited in one sense," Rose said in an interview with BBC. "But I think it would be inappropriate to be celebrating, in a certain way, at someone else's expense. That's not what I'm here to do. It's an unfortunate situation."

Rose further added in the interview with the publication that he immediately called the production manager of AC/DC upon hearing Brian's condition. He said that he will try to do whatever it takes to help the band as he hold these people dear in his heart.

As much as he is excited though, he is also nervous as he is not sure if he can actually perform some of the songs the way Brian does. Nevertheless, he said he will try to do justice to these songs for the fans.

AC/DC tour is set to perform at London's Olympic Stadium on June 4 and Manchester's Etihad Stadium on June 9. Here are more details of Axl Rose teaming up with AC/DC courtesy of ArtisanNewsService.
