After years of waiting, Justin Timberlake is about to gift his fans a brand new album. The 35-year-old singer confirmed on May 6, Friday, that he is in the works of making a new collection of songs which may also include country music.
According to E! Online, Timberlake confirmed the news while chatting with Carson Daly on 97.1 Amp Radio. Although he does not have a release date for his brand new songs yet, he said that he is “definitely” working on something for his followers.
Timberlake’s announcement no longer comes as a surprise since he has been dropping hints while in his studio, hanging out and making music with famous musicians such as: Pharrell, Timbaland and Little Big Town.

"Growing up in Tennessee—very central of the country— Memphis is known as being the birthplace of rock and roll, but also the home of the blues, but Nashville's right down the street so there's a lot of country music,” he added.
As to which artists he would want to collaborate with, Timberlake shared with that he’s actually thinking about working with Drake and Chris Stapleton.
In other news, Timberlake also dropped a new single titled “Can’t Stop the Feeling”, Entertainment Weekly reported. It was released May 5, Thursday on Apple's iTunes. The new upbeat song is an official soundtrack for Dreamworks’ upcoming animated film “Trolls” which stars Anna Kendrick, Kunal Nayyar, Gwen Stefani, James Corden, Ronald Funches and Icona Pop.
