The Flash is a CW Network series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns.

New details for "The Flash" season 2 will feature Cisco Ramon's role in the season finale and the possible identity of the Man in the Iron Mask.

CW Network's hit TV series will have two episodes left as cast member Carlos Valdes teased what will happen in the ultimate battled between Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Hunter Zolomon/Zoom (Teddy Sears and Tony Todd) during "The Flash" season 2 finale.

Valdes told Entertainment Weekly that the right term to described their fight is a "showdown" and as far as his character Cisco Ramon's role in the fight between the two speedsters, everybody in team Flash has an important role to play. Valdes added that Cisco will have an important role in stopping Zoom and there are no backup plans anymore and Cisco's Vibe powers are the key in defeating the evil Earth 2 speedster.

Cisco's powers in "The Flash" season 2 has become instrumental as not only he can see from different dimensions and upcoming events, but has the ability to open the breaches from Earth 1 to Earth 2.

The synopsis from season 2 finale titled "The Race of his Life" will have The Flash fight Zoom after revealing his ultimate goal and will do absolutely everything to stop his plans. The title of the episode could also teased that both speedsters will likely race beyond Central City possibly around the word.

In other news, the possible identity of Zoom's captive dubbed the Man in the Iron Mask has been hinted as his name could be an Earth 2 version from Barry's world.

It is revealed from last week's episode that Henry Allen's (John Wesly Shipp) maiden name is Garrick hinting that Garrick family exited in Earth 1. This lead to the speculation that Zoom's prisoner on his lair could Earth 2 Henry Allen or possibly the "real" Jay Garrick/The Flash of that earth, Cinemablend reported.

Hunter Zolomon used the name Jay Garrick to pretend to be a hero and get close to Barry Allen to obtain his Speed Force powers as the Man of the Iron Mask spelled his name to Barry during captivity, all signs hinted that the masked man is the real "Jay" as he was disappointed when Barry did not get his message and Zoom forbids him to not talk to him. Zoom also hinted to Barry that his identity will surprise him.

"The Flash" returns on Tuesday 8pm on the CW Network.
