'Final Fantasy VII Remake' is an upcoming video game remake, developed and published by Square Enix, of the original 1997 PlayStation role-playing video game by Square.

Square Enix is yet to give any details about the much-awaited "Final Fantasy 7 Remake," but fans hope that the developer company will retain some of the great features found in the original game, including the Golden Saucer's mini games. Latest information shows that the company will release the upcoming remake episodically by 2019.

Players of the original "Final Fantasy VII" game had a reprieve from the storyline when they played Golden Saucer's mini games. Therefore, it is expected that they will still play them in the remake.

In an interview with Dengeki Playstation via Gematsu, producer Yoshinori Kitase said, "We want to put the mini-games that remain favorable among fans in as much as possible. Development staff is also thinking about what to do with the mini-games."

Avid fans of the game should expect seeing some famous mini games like "Mog House," "Chocobo Racing," and "G Bike." "Chocobo Racing" is a vital part of the original "Final Fantasy VII" and fans think it is fun and exciting to have them amid the breeding system being difficult. As fans wait to see this mini game incorporated in the upcoming remake, they hope for more levels and an easier breeding system.

"Mog House" is possibly the most popular Golden Saucer's mini game because it is easy and lighthearted. It is at the same level in terms of popularity with the 90s "Tamagochi" game.

With regard to "G Bike," the upcoming remake will allow Cloud to use his Buster Sword to protect himself against enemies. In the original game, Cloud could not use his Buster Sword.

Meanwhile, producer Kitase had another interview with Game Informer, whereby he said that the video game developers on his team have finally come to a consensus about the number of episodes that the upcoming remake will have. However, the producer indicated that his development team is ready to make changes concerning the planned episodic release of "Final Fantasy 7 Remake." In case the team's plan comes to fruition, players should expect to see an episodic style of the release of the upcoming remake similar to other titles in "Final Fantasy franchise.

The upcoming remake will be launched episodically and fans should expect to see a bundled version in 2019. Watch the footage below for more information.
