Two teams from opposite ends of the German top flight table, FC Bayern Munich (27-2-4, 85 points) and Hannover 96 (7-22-4, 25 points), are facing each other in their final game of the 2015-2016 Bundesliga season on May 14th, Saturday at the Allianz Arena in Bavaria.

Bayern claimed its fourth straight Meisterschale during the last matchday as they built enough gap over second-placed team Borussia Dortmund with the current season slowly winding down. The gap is at eight points at the moment following the Borussians surprising 0-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt in the previous matchday.

In their last match, the Bavarians eased through middling squad FC Ingolstadt 04, 2-1, at the Audi Sportpark last Saturday to bounce back from a clumsy draw with Borussia Monchengladbach a matchday before, as per BBC Sport.

Polish striker Robert Lewandowski netted a double in the first 32 minutes of the contest for head coach Pep Guardiola's boys to take a quick 2-0 lead in the first half.

Ingolstadt forward Moritz Hartmann was able to respond with a successful penalty kick three minutes before the halftime break to make it 2-1 at the interval.

The score proved to be the final count as both teams were unable to make any goals after the restart, giving Bayern its ninth consecutive unbeaten performance.

Meanwhile, cellar-dwelling team Hannover 96 is already officially demoted to the second division next season as they had only managed two wins in their last six games.

Their last game was a win, though, as the team nipped lowly squad TSG Hoffenheim, 1-0, at the HDI-Arena also last Saturday, via SkySports.

Japanese winger Hiroshi Kiyotake provided the lone goal of the contest for head coach Daniel Stendel's side at the 28th minute as the two teams had a hard time penetrating each other's defenses the whole match.

Die Roten is eight points below the nearest club in the overall standings, Vfb Stuttgart, with only one game left in this term's campaign.

The predicted result is a 2-1 win for Bayern Munich.
