"Captain America" actor Chris Evans and Jenny Slate are reportedly dating. She began seeing Evans in March, sources revealed.
Evans and Slate started dating following her split from former husband, film editor Dean Fleischer-Camp, a source told US Weekly. The new couple starred and grew closer while filming the upcoming drama movie, "Gifted."
In March, Evans and Slate went on a double date with his brother, Scott Evans at Magnolia eatery in Hollywood. They also appeared in Anna Farris "Unqualified" relationship podcast in April.
During a joint interview, Evans and Slate proudly shared their admiration for each other. Slate said that she was initially scared with the actor, who is known as "Captain America." She claimed he is a giant man with huge muscles and wondered how could they connect.
Things changed the first night they hung out. Slate said she could talk with the actor for like 90 hours. Evans shared the same feelings, claiming he only knew her for some months but they were "like same animal."
Slate split from Fleischer-Camp after almost four years of marriage, wherein their separation was only confirmed earlier this month. The ex-couple said their split was not a bitter one because they only grew apart.
In 2007, Evans dated Minka Kelly for a short time. They reunited in 2012 and split again in 2013. He and Kelly fueled getting back together rumors in September 2015. Evans also dated Jessica Biel in 2003 to 2005. The actor was also linked to Sandra Bullock and Lily Collins in the past.
In other news, Evans and Slate were reportedly looking like a couple when they went on a double date with his brother in March. An insider told E! News that they were not showing any PDAs when they were left alone on the patio, but they were like a couple.
Slate already met Evans' friends, and they were getting to know each other better, another source added.
In the past, the actor had opened up about his wish to settle down and start his own family. Evans and Slate have yet to confirm to the dating news publicly.
