MacBook Pro 2016: Surface Book 2 release date in June to rival MacBook Pro 2016

Rumors are doing the rounds that the tech company Microsoft will launch the Surface Book 2 in June this year.

According to some reports, the software giant will be launching Surface Book 2 to rival against the 2016 MacBook Pro. The upcoming Apple laptop will be released in June 2016.

The tech giant Microsoft had launched Surface Book (first generation) in October last year. The first generation Surface Book is powered by Intel Skylake chipset. However, there are speculations that the new Surface Book 2 will be powered by Intel Kaby lake i7 and i5 processors.

Several reports indicate that the new processors will be manufactured with 14 nm FinFet technology. The chips will deliver longer battery life and excellent performance.

The Surface Book (2015) sports a 13.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2000 x 3000 pixels. Microsoft Surface Book 2 is rumored to sport same sized screen; however, it will deliver 4K resolution.

It is said that the forthcoming Surface Book 2 will have a USB Type-C port. Furthermore, the new device will come in multiple chipset variants that will have different price tags.

Meanwhile, speculations are doing the rounds that the 2016 MacBook Pro will be cheaper than the earlier Apple laptops that were launched.

The upcoming MacBook Pro is expected to have a touch sensitive keyboard that will enable to recognize touch pressures in different levels and deliver suitable actions. Furthermore, new GPU products from Nvidia and AMD will run the new Apple laptop, MacRumors reported.

It is believed that the 2016 MacBook Pro will include a Retina display with a resolution of 2034 X 1440.

According to a BGR report, Cupertino-based Apple will replace MacBook Air 2016 with MacBook Pro 2016. Apple's Philip Schiller said that the 2016 MacBook Pro is the lightest and thinnest Mac that the company has ever made.

Schiller further said that the consumers will like this MacBook update, with the faster flash storage, longer battery life, newest processors and faster graphics.

At present, Adorama, Best Buy and B&H Photo are offering huge discounts for the 2015 MacBook Pro. According to reports, Adorama is selling MacBook Pro 2015 for $964.
