Imminent Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Release Date as Ongoing Galaxy S6, S7 Deals Offer Tempting Discounts?

A Samsung Galaxy S7 is seen during its worldwide unveiling on February 21, 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.

Speculations are rife that Samsung's release date plans for the phablet flagship Galaxy Note 6 will be earlier than usual, likely a month ahead of its chief rival - Apple's iPhone 7 Plus. And with the ongoing deals that knocked off considerable dollars from both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S6, rumors on the device's advanced unboxing are all the more fired up.

As the usual case in the past, device makers preparing to rollout new models are clearing the way by selling old handsets with reduced pricing, which now applies to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7 - issued in 2015 and 2016, respectively.

Surprisingly, the deal involving the S7 offers buyers savings of nearly $100 as the original tag has been shrunk to $530, according to Phone Arena, pointing to the promo coming from Newegg. The S7 on the deal plate is the 32GB variant with color choices of Gold, Black or White. The unit is dual-SIM, which gives users the option to connect on two networks simultaneously. Take note though that in taking advantage of the dual-SIM feature, the microSD slot will be occupied and become unavailable.

Compared to Amazon, the same Galaxy S7 model will cost around $630 so the package in subject should be tempting enough considering the specs that buyers will be treated to. Reviewers have labelled as the best and the greatest so far from Samsung with some even declaring that the handset is many ways better than the iPhone 6S.

The Galaxy S7 Newegg deal is accessible via eBay with limited supplies.

But in the event that stocks have run out, BGR said that the Galaxy S6 can be snapped up from B&H Photo with significant price off - for only $449. The device on sale is unlocked, indicating that it will work on most GSM networks worldwide, and boasts of 32GB on-board memory.

The power inside this S6 is the duo of Android Lollipop (possibly ready to jump to the next Android) and 8-core Exynos 7420 chip with 3GB of RAM. The device sports a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with 2K QHD screen resolution. The camera package is 16-megapixel on rear and 5-megapixel on front with killer shooting features such as optical image stabilization and the ability to record 4K videos.

Now there is little doubt that the discounted Galaxy S7 and S6 are compelling buys but what could prove as the real deal is the Galaxy Note 6, and the unpacking of which is likely near if the sales of Samsung's past flagships are of any indicators.

Rumors say that the Note 6 is even more a step up from the already impressive Galaxy S7, inside and out. It is touted as a muscle car courtesy of Snapdragon 823 that likely is paired with 6GB of RAM. And the design and build will be as beautiful and solid as the S7 with the latter's feature upgrades possibly mirrored on the Note 6 like expandable memory and waterproofing.

But unlike the GS7, the Galaxy Note 6 is tipped to rock Android N out of the box and said to be the main reason for its earlier release date, which according to Evan Blass is set August 15 following a possible July unveiling.
