Here is the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow release update for Samsung Galaxy J3 2016, S5 Mini, Galaxy S5, Note 4 and Huawei P8 Lite.
The tech giant Samsung has recently revealed the Galaxy J3 (2016) unit for the global market. Also, the Samsung device was released to America through various carriers such as AT&T, Verizon and many prepaid carriers.
Some U.S. models were running on Android 6.0 M; however, there were some regions with the device running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, SamMobile reported. According to recent reports, the electronics maker has begun working on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Galaxy J3 (2016).
Reports also suggest that the Galaxy S5 Mini will be getting the newest Android Marshmallow update. Recently, the software was spotted at the Wi-Fi Alliance. It means that the update will come pretty soon.
Various reports indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S5 has begun getting the Android 6.0.1 M update. Users in Korea are already getting access to it, therefore, it means that other regions will follow.
The Android Marshmallow update is rolling out for the SM-G900F model in Italy, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Germany and Trinidad & Tobago; for the SM-G900I Telus units in Canada; and Galaxy S5 Sport and Galaxy S5 in US under Sprint.
Furthermore, Huawei P8 Lite users residing in Europe are currently receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, according to Huawei's website. A few Germans have already got the newest update.
According to many reports, Europeans have got the Android 6.0 M update on their P8 Lite device before owners in the United States. The Android update for the device is about 1.5 GB in size.
The installation file can be downloaded to the Huawei P8 Lite (unlocked version). According to reports, carrier variants will be tested soon and they will get the approval to get the Android 6.0 M update OTA.
Some of the variants of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 began being upgraded to Android 6.0.1 M one month ago. The update will land on all the Galaxy Note 4 devices pretty soon.
