The much-anticipated MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to launch soon with the OLED display.

Rumors are rife that the upcoming Apple MacBook Pro 2016 may come in pink color. It may come with a detachable touch screen and be made with the metal injection molding technique.

Following in the footsteps of Microsoft Surface Pro tablets, Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to use the technique of metal injection molding to create a new hinge design in its thinnest laptop, according to Digi Times. The supplier for these hinges is Amphenol, who also makes the same component for the Microsoft Surface Pro tablets.

Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to come in pink color apart from the usual color options of silver and gold. Apple MacBook 2016 was recently launched in the rose gold color so there are rumors that Apple MacBook Pro 2016 may also come in that option as well, according to 9to5 Mac.

Moreover, other reports claim that MacBook Pro 2016 may come with a detachable touch screen in order to give stiff competition to the Microsoft Surface Pro tablet-cum-laptops. The retina display will also be technologically more advanced in order to offer a higher density and depth of colors.

There are also reports that the upcoming laptop will feature USB Type-C ports on both sides of the device. This is in direct contrast to the recently launched MacBook 2016, which features only one USB Type-C port on the top-left corner of the device.

Meanwhile, Apple recently patented a new input technology, which may be seen in the upcoming laptop. The keyboard of the MacBook Pro 2016 will not have any physical keys and will be highly customizable. Users can also customize sections of the keyboard as numeric pads, special keys and track-pads as per their wishes.

Regarding the price of MacBook Pro 2016, it is expected to start at $1,299. Hence, it will be one of the cheapest MacBook Pros, till date.

MacBook Pro 2016 release is expected at WorldWide Conference, which will take place in California from June 13-17. Apple may also launch its latest operating system at the same venue.
