In 2003, journalist Anthony Bozza said a Rolling Stone cover in 1999 was meant to feature a naked Eminem. In a recent lyrics annotation, the "Rap God" rapper teased his fans that he is willing to get naked.
In his book "Whatever You Say I Am: The Life and Times of Eminem," Bozza wrote "That first Rolling Stone cover, which was meant to feature a naked Eminem holding a lit stick of dynamite over his manhood, made history for both of us." The book was published a year after release of Eminem's fourth studio album "The Eminem Show," which included the songs "Cleanin' Out My Closet," "Superman" featuring Dina Rae," "My Dad's Gone Crazy" featuring Hailie Jade and "Till I Collapse" featuring Nate Dogg.
In the said Rolling Stone cover, Eminem stares blankly at the reader. At the time, the Detroit rapper was known for his second studio album titled "The Slim Shady LP," which was released on Feb. 23, 1999.
Eminem's most recent album titled "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" was released in 2013. One of the 16 tracks is the collaboration song "The Monster" featuring Rihanna.
"Call me crazy but I have this vision one day that I'll walk amongst you a regular civilian," Eminem raps in the third verse of "The Monster." In his annotation of these lines on Genius, the Detroit rapper wrote, "But naked tho."
On the other hand, Rihanna released her eighth studio album titled "Anti" on Jan. 28 through Roc Nation and Westbury Road. The album has 13 tracks including "Work" featuring Drake, "Consideration" featuring SZA, "Desperado," "James Joint," "Woo," "Kiss It Better," "Love on the Brain" and "Yeah I Said It."
Rihanna and Eminem's first collaboration song was "Love the Way You Lie," which was released in 2010 and followed by its sequel "Love the Way You Lie II," "Numb" in 2012 and "The Monster" in 2013. It has yet to be confirmed if their fifth collaboration song will be included in the Detroit rapper's upcoming ninth album.
