Gennady Golovkin next fight likely against Billie Joe Saunders? Chris Eubank Jr. up to the challenge as well

Gennady Golovkin (R) beats up David Lemieux during their middleweight unification title fight.

It looks like Gennady Golovkin's unblemished record will not go away anytime soon as the Kazakh boxer continues to demolish the competition in the Middleweight division. After demolishing Dominic Wade, it seems like his next opponent will be Chris Eubank Jr.

After scoring a round two knock-out victory over Wade in April 23, Golovkin is now looking for a new opponent who can put up a better fight. In fact, he took it to his Twitter account and asked fans who they think should he fight next.

Upon posting, five names surfaced and they are Billy Joe Saunders, Andy Lee, Jorge Sebastian Heiland and Chris Eubank Jr. among others, Boxing News 24 reported. Looking at Saunders, he is indeed considered a favorite as both he and Golovkin have undefeated records, which could translate to high PPV ratings. Lee, meanwhile, is a veteran who stands at 34-3-1 and is set to fight Daniel Jacobs first on July 30. Lastly, Heiland has a professional boxing record of 27-4-2.

Eubank went ahead and expressed his interest on fighting Golovkin and looking at his record, he may as well be one of the more suitable candidates to match against the undefeated boxer. Eubank's current boxing record is at 22-1 with the single defeat coming from a split decision against Billie Joe Sanders. Eubanks is set to duel with Tom Doran on June 25 and should he win it, the possibility of a Golovkin fight will be more realistic.

"I would love to fight Golovkin," Eubank told Daily Mail UK. "We have to start shooting for the sky, not waiting to next year. Eddie is in talks and said they were positive. Gennady has expressed interest in the fight."

He is very optimistic that the Golovkin versus Saul "Canelo" Alvarez match-up is not happening anytime soon. Rumor has it that Golden Boy Promotions, the company that represents Alvarez, is cautious on who they put up against their fighter as a loss may result to lesser PPV ratings.

"That fight (between Alvarez and Golovkin) is not going to happen he has to find someone else to fight," Eubank added in the interview with the publication.

Here are some highlights of Golovkin's annhilation of Wade.
