New details for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature the official game file size for "Blood and Wine" DLC and CD Projekt announced that the latest expansion will end Geralt's tale.
CD Projekt RED community head Marcin Momot announced that the official game file size of "The Witcher 3's" latest DLC expansion, "Blood and Wine" will be at 10-15 GB. Momot told Gamespot that file size is for thw expansion itself as the game developers will be launching a patch update for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" when the DLC launches on May 31.
The previous DLC expansion "Hearts of Stone" for the "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" was at 3.5 GB for the PlayStation 4, while the Xbox One version is at 4.73GB. The Steam data base list stated that PC users will new atleast 10GB of free hard drive space.
In other news, CD Projekt RED co-founder Marcin Iwinski confirmed that "Blood and Wine" DLC expansion will be the end of Geralt's tale in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, thus ending "The Witcher" game series.
Iwinski stated in an interview that CD Projekt RED has no plans for another sequel for "The Witcher" game series after the story of "Wild Hunt" and its expansion anytime soon, Gamerant reported. Game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz stated that he is hoping to make another instalment of "The Witcher" series, possibly after CD Projekt RED is done developing and releasing their next upcoming ttile "Cyberpunk 2077".
It is rumored that the outcome of "Blood and Wine" DLC expansion in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" could pave the way for another storyline setting up "The Witcher 4". CD Projekt RED head Michał Kiciński stated that they will continue the game series, but with a different perspective and explained that it is too soon to talk about a "Witcher 4" at the moment, but the brand itself will not be forgotten due to the impressive reception "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" received from fans and it will be unfair for them to end it soon.
However, Iwinski added that they do not know as to when "The Witcher 4" might happen as they do not have any plans at the moment. For now the game developers are focusing on "Blood and Wine's" release in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" and it will be the end and it there will not another title soon, but if there was a next instalment , Iwinski will be curious to know how the gaming fans will react to it.
"Blood and Wine" will feature Geralt's final journey into the new region of Touissant as it features over 90 new quest, 40 points of interest, 100 individual pieces of armor, more than 20 new monsters, a new Dynamic points of interest and New Game+ maximum level increase to 100.
Gamers will have 30 new weapons and 12 new mutation abilities for Geralt, along with new and returning characters such as Yennefer, Triss Merigold, Ann Henriatta, Fringello Vigo, Dandelion, Regis and Vilgefortz. The latest expansion will cost around $19.99 or get it using the expansion pass. A limited box edition of the DLC will contain new physical Gwent card decks, guide, tokens and code for the DLC.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
