Gabe Newell thanks people for their money for Steam Summer Sale

Customers who want to make the best of their money will have to wait until June 23 for the Steam Summer Sale where almost all games are sold for ridiculous prices.

The annual Steam Summer Sale event is always anticipated by PC users as they can spend their money buying games at their lowest prices even if they would not really play them at all. Valve has always been quiet about when it will start but they cannot really stop the leakers.

Gamers can now save up their money so that they can get the most value when the Steam Summer Sale starts on June 23. The highly anticipated event is expected to last until July 4 which gives Valve customers more time to buy all of the games they want.

The information leak comes from a Reddit user named MrFreemanBBQ, Vine Report has learned. The Reddit post contained a small image of an event discount for steam where the event details are shown.

Steam Summer Sale starts on June 23 and ends on 4th of July from Steam

At first, the post contains an English title and text body. However, there is a bit of Russian mixed in when the date was mentioned.

Fortunately, the poster gives a rough translation that it will be on June 23. The font and interface shown in the image looks similar to the Valve platform which could add weight to its authenticity.

The Steam Summer Sale will officially start on June 23 at 9:45 AM Pacific Time, ChristianToday has learned. On July 4, the sale will end at 10:00 AM PT.

Valve could have leaked the information to keep they hype up. It will also give their fans and users more time to save up money so that they will spend more when the sale begins.

Expensive AAA games are usually given the best deals on the gaming platform. Some sales even strip off up to 90 percent on the original prices compared to other online game shopping service.

Valve will have to officially announce when the Steam Summer Sale will actually start. Users can expect an announcement soon considering that it is now roughly a month before the rumored June 23 start of the event.
