Song Joong Ki relayed to fans that if he did not became an actor, he would probably be Lee Kwang Soo's manager. The "Descendants of the Sun" star revealed this fact at his fan meeting in Wuhan, China on May 21.
According to Soompi, during the Q&A segment of his "2016 Asia Tour Fan Meeting" in Wuhan, the fans asked Song what his job would be if he did not get into acting. The star replied by saying, "If I did not become an actor, I would have become Lee Kwang Soo's manager."
In any case, the fan meeting in Wuhan was the fourth stop of his Asian fan meet tour. The event was able to gather about 6,500 fans, proving his immense popularity once again. Song surprised fans with his Chinese-speaking skills and even spoke the Wuhan dialect which touched the audience since he exerted effort in learning a bit of their native language.
Meanwhile, Song recently appeared on the Chinese show called "Happy Camp." It was reported that the episode when he was the guest allowed the show to reach its highest viewership record for this year. In the past, some of the most popular Korean stars were also invited on the show, but Song's episode recorded the highest viewership rating among them as well, Naver News reported.
"Happy Camp" with the "DOTS" star as guest attained 2.61 percent nationwide viewership rating and this is considered very high considering the great number of the Chinese population. Song's massive popularity was the result of his perfect portrayal as Captain is Yoo Shi Jin in "Descendants of the Sun."
Finally, Song will not be in any drama soon but he will be making a cameo appearance on his best friend Lee Kwang Soo's new TV sitcom called "The Sound of Your Heart." He is also set to star in a movie entitled "Gunhamdo." His character in this upcoming film is similar to his previous role as a soldier, for he will be playing as a fighter for the liberation of his country.
