Duncan James reveals his character Ryan will be working closely with Ste Hay in Channel 4's 'Hollyoaks'

Duncan James has given a hint about his character in the upcoming British TV program "Hollyoaks." He will play Ryan, the head of a new family who will arrive in the Hollyoaks village this summer. He will likewise work with one of the veteran stars of the soap when he joins this year.

The singer was not able to resist spilling some of the beans. He took to Twitter and revealed that his character will work closely with Kieron Richardson.

James dropped a major hint that he will be working with one of the Channel 4 soap’s most popular characters, Ste Hay, and will spend some quality time with him. James’ character Ryan is a good guy with integrity and principles. He is in a committed relationship, a grounded family man who will fight for what he believes in, according to Channel4 .

Meanwhile, Richardson, who plays Ste Hay in the Channel 4 soap opera teased the details about one of the soap’s biggest storylines and how things will develop. “I’ve had a bit of input into it because it’s something that we’ve touched upon in the past,” he told The Huffington Post UK in an interview last month.

Ste, whose life is always in jeopardy is like a cat with multiple lives. Richardson added about the character, “I feel like the latest stuff is no different. He’s putting his own life at risk.”

“Hollyoaks” is a daily soap that follows the lives, loves and offenses of people in Hollyoaks, a Chester village where anything could and frequently happen. James has been excited with the new role and thrilled to join the team of the soap on Channel 4 to bring life to the character of Ryan.

James is one of the four members of boy-band Blue who likewise enjoyed success on the stage with a role in West End productions of “Chicago,” and one of the leads of the musical “Legally Blonde.” The singer-actor also appeared in “Grease: The School Musical.” He toured the UK lately for being part of “Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.”
