Lauren Graham appeared on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" on May 23, Monday, to promote her book, "Talking As Fast As You Can" as well as the revival of the "Gilmore Girls" episodes. Her book of humorous essays would be coming out concurrently with the revival episodes.
When Graham said of the release date as "concurrently" to Degeneres, then her guesting may have just revealed when the American comedy series will air again. The revival of "Gilmore Girls" does not have a release date yet, but the release of her book has already been initially announced as Nov. 22. However, Penguin Random House changed the information on the webpage of the book, that it would be released on Nov. 29.
The change may have something to do with the release of the series. Nov. 29 is a Tuesday and Netflix usually has release dates on Fridays. As the series should come before the book, Nov. 25 could be it, according to Bustle.
The "Gilmore Girls" star gave audience leads of the show's revival on Netflix with her book of essays which was acquired by an imprint of Random House, Ballantine Books, Entertainment Weekly reported. Graham's book will cover her life - adolescence, dating years, fulfilling years as an actor in Los Angeles and New York, as well as her role as a Gilmore girl.
Graham's first novel, "Someday, Someday, Maybe" released in 2013 received critical acclaim and was a New York Times best-seller. The actress-writer is reportedly working on her second novel.
The series, which ran from Oct. 5, 2000 to May 15, 2007, is about Graham's character, Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter, Rory (Alexis Bledel), in a Connecticut town. Meanwhile, Australian actor Tanc Sade who plays Finn in the comedy series gave a hint of what would be Rory's career in the upcoming revival of the series, that she is a writer of the Stars Hollow Gazette.
The official pictures of the series' revival hint that Rory went on to become a teacher but Sade gave a different clue. In a post on his Instagram account, Sade is reading the newspaper dated July 19 with Rory's name on it as a reporter. The paper was signed by the creators and cast of "Gilmore Girls."
The cast of 'Gilmore Girls' were reunited on "Today" in 2015 as shown in the following video.
