Nicholas Hoult, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Bryan Singer and Michael Fassbender talk about "X-Men: Apocalypse" during the 2015 Comic-Con International in San Diego.

The "X-Men: Apocalypse" actress Jennifer Lawrence has big things to hope for in her life. One of the things that she would truly love to possess in her life is the mutant powers and shapeshifting abilities that her character Raven/Mystique has in the movie.

"I would not want to trade it for anything the others have," the Oscar winner said at the global fan premiere in London for "X-Men: Apocalypse," according to the Chicago Sun Times. "My mutant quality - as Mystique - is exactly the one I want."

The actress further added that her wish to possess shapeshifting abilities has everything to do with her never-ending struggle to stop people from intruding into her life. The "Hunger Games" actress said that that would in fact be the best thing to do to escape the paparazzi- to change into anyone in a split of a second and disguise yourself perfectly.

"My life would then be perfect - no mistaking that. I'd love it. I know this sounds totally selfish - and it is," Lawrence said at the movie premiere. However, the actress cleared that her special mutant powers would just be meant for herself and not for the world.

The latest film on the "X-men" series, "Apocalypse," the very first and the most powerful mutant wakes up after thousands of years only to discover that the world has transformed into something that he does not like at all. The character of the old mutant, Apocalypse, is being played by Oscar Isaac.

He goes on to gather a group of other mutants, including Michael Fassbender's character Magneto, and set out on a path to destroy the mankind so that he is able to create a world that he can finally rule. Meanwhile, Mystique leads a team of X-Men who are dedicated to save the mankind from destruction.

Apart from Lawrence, Olivia Munn's character, Psylocke, also possesses special mutant power in the film. Psylocke knows telepathy, that is, she is able to project and read thoughts even from a long distance. In addition, she is a skilled warrior who knows how to play with the sword.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" hits the theatres on May 27, Friday. According to a review posted by The Wall Street Journal, a majority of the mischief in the movie is perpetrated by Apocalypse himself.
