After Marie Claire Korea, the next photoshoot assignment of “Descendants of the Sun” actor Song Joong-ki was a Taiwanese magazine.
AllKpop reported that the 30-year-old Hallyu actor appears on the cover of the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar Taiwan. He is seen peeking behind a local newspaper and appears confused as if he was caught by surprise by the paparazzi.
To promote the special issue with a double cover, the fashion magazine is offering the June edition to fans of the actor with a 10-yuan discount, bringing the price down to 190 yuan from the regular price of 200 yuan. The magazine’s marketing department said orders will be shipped through Orchid Island, Green Island, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu. The issue would also be available through pick-up at the same outlets and in selected magazine stands in Hong Kong and Macau.
However, at the Facebook page of Harper’s Bazaar Taiwan, some fans of Song Joong-ki sought clarity if the edition is just the Taiwanese version of the actor’s photoshoot and interview for Harper’s Bazaar Korea edition or a different one. That was a question asked by Shu Yu Lin and two other female fans.
Song Joong-ki was also the cover boy of Harper's Bazaar Korea, May issue. In that edition, he is seen wearing a blue silk shirt with cranes and flower patterns, a Louis Vuitton shirt that actor Rain also wore in another pictorial. It appears it is a different one from the Taiwan June edition because the clothes that the actor is wearing in a plain blue short-sleeve shirt with white piping for the cover.
Another photo shared in the magazine’s Facebook page showed the actor wearing a blue T-shirt with white square design. That photo was previously published in late April with speculation that there was a female ghost based on an image in the glass window which was the background.
