Imminent Google Nexus 2016 Release as Unlocked 32GB Huawei Nexus 6P Spotted on eBay at $420?

The Google Nexus 6P phablet was launched in September 2015 with the Nexus 5X smartphone.

Prevailing rumors indicate that the Nexus 2016 release date will not happen anytime soon following Google's decision to skip the flagship device's revelation during the 2016 I/O gathering. But signs remain that suggest the arrival of the handset is imminent. The Nexus 6P, for instance, is the subject of $80 discount over at eBay.

From the usual $499 sticker price when the Huawei Nexus 6P is displayed via the Google Play Store, the Pure Android premium device is now down to $419.99 at the online auction store, which according to Phone Arena is a compelling deal that is in partnership with Best Buy. The specific package offers the Nexus 6P in Graphite finish with 32GB of on board memory and GSM network. The latter assures buyers that the device will work in compatible networks within and outside of the United States.

Coming out of box with the 6P is the powerful combo of Snapdragon 810 and 3GB of RAM, which along with the latest build of Android Marshmallow promise a top-notch mobile device experience. The jumbo phone boasts of a 5.7-inch display that gorgeously renders in 1440 x 2560 Quad HD screen resolution.

The Nexus 6P camera system is headlined by a 12.3-megapixel rear shooter that Huawei paired with the selfie-delight 5-megapixel front-facing cam. Keeping the juice flowing is a 3450mAh battery that is massive enough compared to the competition.

And as always, the best thing about a Nexus phone is the vanilla Android that keeps everything running smooth and easy. With stock Android too as the Nexus 6P inner soul, users are assured of up to date firmware support and security updates for the device plus the bonus of Google's guarantee that OS support will last for no less than three years from the time of initial unpacking.

Yet as tempting as the fresh eBay Nexus 6P deal is, Android fans can't help but to speculate that the device's replacement is about to deploy real soon. Initially, reports were saying that HTC has cornered the Nexus 2016 contract from Google and that the Taiwanese device maker will soon launch two Pure Android phones with the high-end variant a close replica of the metal-clad HTC 10.

However, new rumors contradict this and claim instead that Google will keep the Nexus flagship banner under Huawei. The company is said to issue an upgraded version of the Nexus 6P with the same solid and premium build but with significant step ups on inside component. For the 2016 refresh, the power under the 6P hood is the duo of mighty Snapdragon 820 and generous 4GB RAM.

As mentioned, August 2016 release date is expected for the Google Nexus 2016 but with epic deals on the exiting model and leaks on the sequel continue to surface it's not a remote possibility that launch time could happen ahead of schedule.
