Best Buy’s Xbox One deals include game bundles, Halo5 controller, original console

Best Buy is offering a one-week special that discounts Xbox One 500GB consoles from a $350 price tag to $300. The price cut could help boost sales figures for the Microsoft gaming console as it battles  Sony's PlayStation 4 and Nintendo's Wii U.  

Gamespot reported the slashed prices for Xbox One units. It also noticed that the special edition Xbox One that is bundled with Ubisoft's "The Division" and includes a 1TB hard drive is also getting a $50 discount, according to Cinema Blend. The 1TB console is now $350 instead of the original price of $400.

Gamers can also buy the $300 "Quantum Break" Xbox One bundle that includes a glossy white console and controller, and digital code for "Alan Wake." It is one of the best Xbox One deals since it includes a special white Xbox One console and two free games.   

Best Buy is also offering other discounts for the Xbox system. The "Rise of the Tomb Raider" bundle has been marked down 20 percent from $400 to a much more affordable price point of $320.The $80 price cut is due to the discount and the retail giant's price match guarantee.

Meanwhile, the "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" Xbox One bundle has also been discounted to $300.

Fans of shooting games can choose the "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" bundle that has been discounted $80 to a rock-bottom $320. It includes a 1TB Xbox One unit and three "Rainbow Six" games.

Yet another discounted Xbox One bundle on sale is the limited collector's edition with the Halo design. It has been discounted from $500 to $450. The bundle includes a "Halo 5" silver and cobalt controller, and a copy of "Halo 5: Guardians." 

Finally, shoppers can choose an old-school refurbished Xbox One from 2013. It is bundled with Kinect 2.0 and is slashed from $500 to $350.

In related news, Microsoft is reportedly planning to sell a smaller Xbox One console this year, and a more powerful model next year, according to Kotaku. The 2017 Xbox unit is codenamed Scorpio.

Next year's Xbox One will include several new features. They include a more powerful GPU, and support for 4K resolution and Oculus Rift VR headset.
