Apple has not released the iPhone 7 yet, but many are already expecting the iPhone 8 to be better and more powerful with an all glass model and a Super AMOLED display.

Samsung and the Cupertino-based company could be working up a deal for the Super AMOLED display screens. Since it would not be featured in the iPhone 7, the iPhone 8 would most likely be the first candidate.

Apple has been using the traditional LCD technology for their smartphones. It lacks brightness and vivid colors compared to the South Korean tech company's screen technology which also saves power by not lighting up black pixels on the screen.

Catcher Technology CEO Allen Horng has already confirmed that the iPhone 8 would have an all glass casing but with a metal frame for reinforcement, Gamenguide has learned. He also added that the process will be expensive and advanced.

The glass chassis and the Super AMOLED display does make the iPhone 2017 attractive even in just the imagination. It would be another first for the company as they try to be different again in the saturated market of smartphones.

Another interesting feature is the new patented waterproofing method. The iPhone 8 could expel water from its orifices in order to protect the device from water damage, ValueWalk reported

Apple filed for a patent for the new waterproofing method. The device would try to force the water out of the system through the speaker grilles in order to dry itself out.

Other rumored specs for the iPhone 8 is a large upgraded 4GB RAM which will make the user interface smoother than before. It would also come equipped with new biometrics tech which Samsung is already expected to bring in their Galaxy Note 6 in the form of an Iris scanner.

There are also reports of a DSLR-like camera which could change mobile photography. Several options for the camera could be patterned from a real DSLR too.

The iPhone 8 is still several months away from a reveal considering that the iPhone 7 has not been officially announced yet. Apple could still fit in more features besides the all glass casing and the Super AMOLED display.
