"The Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev recently split from her boyfriend of ten months Austin Stowell. However, no concrete reason was revealed by both celebrities.

Just recently, Hollywood Life reported that Dobrev and Stowell decided to end their relationship because the latter wanted to get to know "Easy A" star Emma Stone.

While speaking with Star Magazine, an insider said, "Emma and Austin are inseparable. There's a real connection there. They have the same sense of humor and are constantly teasing each other in between takes about how sexy they look in the funky 1970s-inspired get-ups they have to wear."

Meanwhile, Stowell and Stone are currently working in an upcoming movie entitled "Battle of Sexes" where they will be playing the role of a husband and wife. The film is slated for release sometime in October 2017.

The source added that even their co-stars and the crew of their upcoming film couldn't help but comment on what a cute couple they make.

"The cast and crew are always saying what a cute couple they make. Emma and Austin try to brush it off, but you should see the way they blush!" the insider added.

In other news, there are some rumors that Stowell already set his eyes on Stone even when he was still going out with Dobrev. As a result, "The Vampire Diaries" alum decided to end her relationship with the actor for fear that she may be cheated on with Stone.

As of late though, none of these claims have been confirmed or denied by Dobrev, Stowell and Stone.

Meanwhile, even though the relationship of the two didn't work out, both of them are very happy with their careers.

After leaving "The Vampire Diaries" at the end of season 6, Dobrev went on to star in at least two movies.

The actress is also rumored to return to the hit The CW series sometime next season where she will be reprising her role as Elena Gilbert.

Previously, executive producer Julie Plec said that seeing Dobrev in the finale would be more than enough for her. But there are rumors that the actress could return to more than just one episode.
