"Girl Meets World" season 3 will see Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) standing up against the senior high school students at Abigail Adams High School.
Just recently, Disney Channel dropped a teaser for the second part of the sitcom's premiere episode that showed Riley and Maya talking about a "hole."
According to The Wrap, the hole refers to an opening between levels at the two young girls' new school.
After being asked to sit in "the hole," Riley and Maya will struggle to understand the dynamics among the students in the said school.
The latter will find it more difficult to follow orders especially from students who she sees as their equal.
Throughout these early struggles in their lives as a high school student, Riley and Maya will stand by and defend each other at all times.
Meanwhile, showrunner Michael Jacobs previously told the publication that there will be a huge shift in the storylines for "Girl Meets World" season 3.
"I think there was a big shift between Year 1 and Year 2. I think there will be a bigger shift between Year 2 and Year 3... I think high school is the most confusing, awful, terrible and ultimately - if you do it right - wonderful springboard into college and the rest of your life. These are the episodes I want you to remember and we're trying to do our best," he said.
In other news, the writers of "Girl Meets World" season 3 recently threw shade at the false information that has been circulating online with regards to the characters and storylines of the hit Disney Channel sitcom.
"Welcome back. Put no faith in rumors. Put your faith in friendship. That's the story we've always been telling. That's the ship that sails," one tweet read.
"Girl Meets World" season 3 will air a two-part premiere episode on June 3 and June 5 at 8 and 8:30 p.m. ET.
