The much-anticipated MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to launch soon with the OLED display.

Rumors abound that Apple MacBook Pro 2016 may be coming with Virtual Reality (VR) support. This may be one of the primary reasons why the MacBook Pro 2016 release is delayed and it will launch in Q4 2016.

The Cupertino-based company recently acquired Flyby Media, which was a known player in the augmented reality domain. It makes devices in such a way that mobile users can see the actual world that is present around them. The company's team was instrumental in making the 3D positioning software for Google's Project Tango.

Earlier in the year, Apple also managed to procure the services of Doug Bowman who is a noted Computer Science Professor. He is also renowned as one of the best Virtual Reality experts in the world.

Apple is investing heavily in VR and in this endeavor has also assembled a good team of top-notch researchers and engineers, according to BGR. These researchers and engineers are also successful in making quite a few prototypes of the VR headsets.

The company also acquired numerous niche companies, which specialise in VR and numerous related technologies. Apple also head-hunted various experts of the VR field and has offered them lucrative contracts with some great benefits.

Other Apple MacBook Pro 2016 specs point to the inclusion of a OLED bar on the keyboard. They will occupy the position of the function keys, according to leaked images by CultofMac.

This OLED bar will also house the fingerprint reader and will allow users to unlock the device through this bar. This biometric entity will enhance the security of the MacBook Pro 2016 to a whole new level.

MacBook Pro 2016 may also come with the much-anticipated Skylake processors, which are Intel's latest invention. They will increase the performance and the battery life of the device to a great extent.

The device will also be available in two models, namely the 13-inch and 15-inch variants. It is also expected to come packed with USB Type-C ports, Thunderbolt 3 support and an enhanced Retina display.
