Samsung is yet to wave the white flag for its tablet devices, proven by the new leaked images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, which is believed to be the latest Android tablet flagship of the Korea-based company.
An image showing the presumed new tablet from Samsung was tweeted recently by a known leakster Evan Blas, wherein Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 showed in two colors, black and white.
While the new Galaxy Tab S3 looks like its predecessor - Galaxy Tab S2 - its back cover will be different and may include a possible Sandstone finish, as reported by Ray Arena. This type of finish aims to give users a better grip on the device.
In terms of display, the latest Galaxy Tab S3 will have an 8-inch AMOLED display. There is no confirmation yet if a 9.7-inch version will be available in the market, just like what Samsung did with Galaxy Tab S2 during its launch back in 2015.
The Tab S3 will also be powered by 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and equipped with a bigger 3GB RAM compared to Tab S2's 1GB RAM. The latest Android tablet flagship of Samsung will also have the updated Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and a minimum of 32GB internal memory. There is no confirmation yet if there will be more versions of Galaxy Tab S3, in terms of the internal capacity, but it is believed to support an external memory of up to 128GB via a microSD.
Most rumors also believe that Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will feature an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera, which is a big boost from Tab S2's 3MP and VGA rear and front shooters. On the other hand, the new Tab will get the same 4000 mAh battery capacity of its predecessor
The multinational South Korean tech company is yet to confirm the release and announcement date for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, but according Tech Radar, the official release might occur next month or on August. It can be recalled that Tab S2 was unveiled July 2015 but was out on the market only by September 2015.
The upcoming Galaxy Tab S3 from Samsung is expected to almost have the same price range as Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.
