"XCOM 2's" mysterious benefactor announces the good news of porting the video game to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

"XCOM 2" will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on September. The Digital Deluxe Edition will include the Reinforcement Pack as a bundle with the main game.

The popular turn-based tactical video game which was the sequel to the first game will be coming to the latest consoles on Sept. 6 in North America and Sept. 9 worldwide. Players can buy the video game for $59.99 for the standard physical edition. Pre-ordering the game will unlock the Resistance Warrior Pack, which will include more customization options for the soldiers, and a new XCOM recruit nicknamed the Survivor of the Old War.

Players can also purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition, which will include the Reinforcement Pack or the Season Pass for $74.99, according to IGN. It will include three DLC packs, which are the Anarchy's Children, Alien Hunters, and Shen's Last Gift. Each DLC pack will have different additional content for the game like new customization options for the soldiers, new enemies to face, new missions, a new soldier class with unique weapons that can be upgraded, new armor, and new maps.

Fans can purchase the standard game for a physical copy and purchase the DLC packs individually, if they wanted to, according to the official website of the game. 2K warns that if they are going to purchase the individual DLC, they must not purchase the Reinforcement Pack, since the company will charge them for that. The game publisher encourages fans to purchase the Reinforcement Pack alone to save money.

Firaxis Lead Producer Garth DeAngelis and Creative Director Jake Solomon wrote on the official blog of PlayStation that they saw every forum post, tweet, Facebook message, and letter about porting the video game on the console. They confirmed that they have heard the pleas of their fans and they are thrilled to grant their request of getting the game on the console. They also thanked The Workshop that helped them in fixing the different bugs and other issue on the PC version, and it also made sense that they handled the move from PC to console.

Console fans will have to play the game without mods, since the game publisher will not allow it in the game. The PC version is still mod-friendly and they advise that the gamers play the game on the PC if they wanted to enjoy that feature.
