Floyd Mayweather looks on after Adrien Broner and Ashley Theophane fought at the DC Armory on April 1, 2016 in Washington, DC.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. added one more luxury house to his collection, as reports confirmed the retired boxing superstar bought a home in Miami Beach. Mayweather is known for buying expensive cars and houses.

According to Los Angeles Times, Mayweather bought the property, which has clean lines and ultramodern look, for $7.7 million. The Florida home also features vaulted interiors and Ipe wood siding, while the floor-to-ceiling windows will give the former pound-for-pound king a good view of the Intracoastal Waterway.

The Ipe wood siding gives Mayweather privacy when he is inside the 5,200 square-foot property. It also has an elegant rooftop patio, a private dock, an outdoor kitchen, and a zero-edge swimming fool. Inside the luxurious home are floating staircase made of glass and steel along with a chef's kitchen with white countertops and cabinets.

The property also has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The mansion, which was first listed for $8.49 million, was sold via listing agent Raymond Bolduc of One Sotheby's International Realty, while Mayweather hired the Castelli Real Estate Services for the negotiation. The 39-year-old also has other properties in Las Vegas and Miami.

Mayweather, who is considered as one of the highest-paid athletes of all time, has an estimated net worth of $650 million according to The Richest. Just in 2015 alone, the Grand Rapids native earned $300 million from salary and sponsorship. He reportedly pocketed $240 million for facing Manny Pacquiao in their record-breaking bout in May 2015. Forbes and Sports Illustrated named the unbeaten boxing icon the highest-paid athlete in 2015.

Mayweather, who owns a perfect 49-0 record with 26 knockout victories, announced his retirement in September after scoring a unanimous decision victory over Andre Berto. The win over Berto came just four months after running away with a unanimous decision victory against his biggest rival, Pacquiao, who also called it quits in April.

While Mayweather has not fought for eight months, most fans expect him to make a comeback fight to chase his 50th victory. He was recently linked to fight with reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight champion Conor McGregor, but the MMA superstar is already booked for a rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202.
