The new Xiaomi Redmi 3 variants may be known as Redmi 3S and Redmi 3A. They are expected to come packed with 2 GB RAM, fingerprint scanner, 32 GB memory, 5-inch HD LCD and Adreno 405 GPU.
Two new variants of Xiaomi Redmi 3 passed the Tenaa certification. The launch of the upcoming smartphones seems imminent in light of the recent certification. One variant of the device is still to be certified by the authorities.
It was earlier reported that a variant to the very popular Xiaomi Redmi 3 was listed on the Tenaa certification website, which will be equipped with a finger print scanner. The model number of the variant was listed as 2016030.
Currently, the website lists three 32 GB variants of this upcoming model, which points towards the fact that there will be four variants in total for the device. The three variants which are expected to release soon are the Xiaomi 2016036, 2016035, along with the 2016033, according to Android Geeks.
All of these three variants will feature 32 GB of internal memory storage. They will also be equipped with a full HD display. Thy will also be equipped with a microSD slot which will be expandable up to at least 128 GB.
Two of these variants are expected to be known as Redmi 3S and Redmi 3A. The name of the third variant is yet to be decided. The smartphones are reported to feature specs such as 5-inch HD LCD display screen with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, an octa-core processor which will be clocked at 1.4 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, along with an Adreno 405 GPU.
Further speculations state that the variants will sport an 8MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera. The Xiaomi Redmi 3A and the Xiaomi Redmi 3S are both expected to run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and also be armed with 4000 mAh of battery capacity.
Connectivity options which will be included in these device are 4G LTE, Bluetooth, along with Wi-Fi support. Grey, Silver, and Gold colour options will be offered with these variants. Their price is expected to be cheaper than the Redmi 3 and they may also offer dual-SIM support.
