Microsoft rolls out ‘Rocket League’ for Xbox One.

Developer Psyonix has recently announced the largest update for Rocket League called Neo Tokyo which will be rolled out on June 20 with two new timed exclusive DLC cars.

Rocket League has made a name for itself with a unique gameplay mechanic. It was a surprise hit for gamers across the world and now the new update will give players more to see and play.

Psyonix has taken the Japanese city and has given it a cyberpunk futuristic vibe. The peg is similar to the Deus Ex Human Revolution several years ago.

The Rocket League Neo Tokyo update will also give players the chance to get two new DLC cars, Polygon has learned. Esper and Masamune are the timed exclusives that will be going along with the large update for the game.

Both cars have been given the similar treatment as the new Neo Tokyo Stadium. They have neon lights all over their body and they have a curvy design which almost makes them look like a small Transformer.

Rocket League's Neo Tokyo stadium will seem familiar to many players as it is actually a modified version of the Rocket Labs Underpass stage, Slashgear has reported. It is not entirely similar considering that the stage is a rework.

Masamune and Esper will be available for $1.99 each which is cheaper than what most DLC packs charge nowadays. One caveat is that they will be launched on July 18 roughly a month after the update.

Good news for those who are just looking to buy the game for the first time, they will be able to snag a copy on July 5 complete with the update along with early access for Esper, Masamune, Aftershock and Marauder. It will be shipped for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platform.

Aftershock and Marauder will also be available on July 18. They seem to be a completely different pair compared to the Neo Tokyo's Esper and Masamune.

Rocket League Neo Tokyo will be launched on June 20 while the new copies of the game will be available by July 5 in the United States and June 24 in Europe. The new release would be the Rocket League Collector's Edition.
