The hype surrounding "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 just got bigger as Vixen will now be a part of its cast. It would be interesting to see if there will also be new faces joining the squad aside from the said hero.
The first season of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" ended on a high note as it left fans hanging on what is going to happen next. Just when Rip Hunter and the rest of the squad thought that their journey is over, they were surprised with the appearance of Rex Tyler/Hourman, who was portrayed by "Suits" star Patrick Adams. He revealed that he is a member of the Justice Society and he also warned the team not to go any further as death awaits them.
With Hawkman and Hawkgirl opting not to embark on another journey, there is room for new characters to make a mark in history. The first slot will be taken by Vixen, who was introduced in "Arrow" season 4 and she also had a six-episode animated TV series. However, the role will no longer be played by Megalyn Echikunwoke, Quirky Byte reported.
The new actress who will play the Vixen is yet to be named but she is said to be a much older version of the heroine Echikunwoke portrayed. She will likely be introduced from the future where Tyler came from, although it is yet to be confirmed whether she will be a series regular.
Her abilities include harnessing powers from any animal thanks to the Tantu Totem. It would be interesting to see if she will showcase her powers wherein she can acquire the skill of a meta-human like The Flash, kryptonian powers of Superman or even The Green Arrow's archery skills. She is also a member of the Justice Society, which makes her addition an easy fit to the second season's storyline.
The other hero linked to the show is Booster Gold, who was thought to be making an appearance in the finale. Initially, he was said to be the character Adams was supposed to play, Inverse reported.
Here are some fan ideas on what should transpire in "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" season 2.
