'The Walking Dead' is an American horror drama television series developed by Frank Darabont, based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.

"The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus, who plays fan-favorite Daryl, recently teased about Season 6 finale's sudden cliffhanger. The actor also dished on fans' reactions about the cliffhanger, and what he thinks they would react when they know the truth in the upcoming seventh installment.

In an interview with IGN, Reedus said that in most cases the cast and crew intentionally avoids talking about the infamous suspense since the truth will eventually come out. The ultimate truth is significant to them and it would be irrational to leak the resolution.

The actor said, "It would almost be doing it a disservice to us to go around blabbing about it, because we put so much work into it, and it's so personal to us that we almost don't want to talk about it too much, because it's private and personal, and you'll see it."

Furthermore, the actor said that the moment fans will see Season 7, they will have the much-needed answers to concerns they have been having since Season 6 wrapped up. Reedus added that Season 7 is worth waiting for since it will give answers to every question raised by viewers.

The actor acknowledges the fact that fans sometimes get emotional about cliffhangers, to the extent that they wish to throw something through the TV. However, he asserts that suspense is an exciting part of being a television fan and following a certain series.

Reedus wondered what it would be like when fans finally get the truth about their provocative questions. Some may be satisfied but others will not. He went ahead to tease that once fans get the truth, they may regret why they raised concerns.

Executive producer Greg Nicotero also talked about AMC's "The Walking Dead" Season 7. In a different interview with the same publication, he unveiled that the most important thing about the upcoming season is for fans to understand that the world is not what everybody imagines. While Rick was so confident in Season 6, this will not be the case in the seventh installment.

There are incidences when people wish that something happened or did not happen, and the reverse takes place. For now, fans should remain patient to see "The Walking Dead" when it finally returns for the seventh installment.
