Speculations about Xaiomi's Redmi 3 have been around for quite some time. From features to specs, all were so promising and the future end users are so excited to know the final deal. Now, Xiaomi has already announced its full specification officially. Redmi 3 will utilize the Snapdragon 430 SoC processor and a confirmed fingerprint scanner.

The officially announced Redmi 3 is well compared with its close competitor, the Miezu m3.  After Meizu launched the device, a lot were expecting that Xiaomi will not fall behind. Redmi 3 is now boasting its high quality internal specs and its elegant design.

The updated specification posted by GSM Arena shows that this device is showcasing the 1.2 GHz octa-core Snapfradon 430 SoC chipset. The device comes out with two variants which are packed with 2GB RAM that comes with 16GB internal memory and a 3GB RAM with a 32GB internal memory, both expandable.

The upcoming device will be sporting a 5-inch display with a 720p resolution and has the same exact dimensions with its predecessor. It still has a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel selfie camera. With its low power-consuming processor, this device holds the real deal in battery life since it will be packed with a 4,100 mAh Li-Ion battery.

As previously rumored by TENAA website, the Redmi 3 truly comes with a fingerprint scanner feature which lies at the back of the device. The only information revealed so far for the fingerprint scanner is it will be used for the camera capture.

Xiaxmi Redmi 3 are available in three different colors in the local market. These are the gold, silver and dark grey. All the device specifications, distinct design and features mentioned are not bad for a very low priced smartphone.

The 2GB RAM variant Redmi 3 will hold a selling price of CNY 699 (US$106) and the 3GB RAM variant will be sold at a price of CNY 899 (US$136) in China's local market. However, these prices may still change once the devices reaches the international market due to additional taxes and fees.  Xiaomi Redmi 3 will be launched on June 16 in China.
